Lugano (Switzerland)

Two spaces, two dimensions, two functions and two different characters.
These two terraces have been studied and designed with different finalities but they share a strong link: the color.
The small one is explicitly synonym of playground: a vintage table soccer, a hanging-chair, different pouf and a Jacuzzi. The artificial grass with the flowerpots’ vegetation resembles a small garden where everything is thought to have fun: it is for young and not.
Instead, the panoramic terrace facing the lake is characterized by a selected few furniture elements chosen with the Client: Kettal, Dedon, Roda, Lenti, Slide, Flos and other top level outdoor names sketch the space with sofas, lounge-chairs, daybed, tables and carpets.
At the sunset, the bright colors of the furniture disappear, giving way to the lake view. Now, the subtle and gentle light touch of the floor lamps creates a whimsical and magical space.
